Tennessee agencies have established an alternative fuels public education and outreach campaign called BioTenn: A Partnership for Homegrown Energy. Information related to this campaign can be obtained from the BioTenn website at www.biotenn.org. The Tennessee 25x’25 State Alliance envisions utilizing the BioTenn website as the host for information developed by the State Alliance and for promoting activities.
The State Alliance plans to implement programs that will:
- Develop materials to debunk bioenergy myths and misinformation at the local level.
- Replicate TN’s successful Biomedical model with a focus on policy and education in building a bioenergy-based industry in TN.
- Enact a public education and outreach effort to build demand for bioenergy/biofuels.
- Encourage greater collaboration between Universities, Coalitions, and Industry
