A Day of Action in Support of Renewable Fuels

11.8.12

Dear Partners,

We need your help.

Any
day now, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will decide whether
or not to “waive” America’s Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS).

To
ensure the EPA understands how important it is to reject the RFS
waiver request, we joined the Fuels America coalition to stand up and
protect the RFS and promote the benefits of all types of renewable fuel
already growing in America.

Today,
Fuels America is hosting a Day of Action on Twitter. If you’re on
Twitter, please send this pre-written tweet — or a tweet of your own
— to EPA Administrator Lisa P. Jackson, letting her know how important
the RFS is to America and that you appreciate her support on this
critical issue:

Renewable fuel is America’s path to secure, cleaner energy. @LisaPJackson, please continue to support the #RFS! #FuelsAmerica

If
you decide to write a tweet of your own, be sure to include
Administrator Jackson’s Twitter handle (@LisaPJackson) and use the
hashtag #FuelsAmerica.

The
Fuels America Day of Action is our chance to show the head of the EPA
how much we support America’s renewable fuel standard and how critical
it is to job creation, the technology sector, and the broader American
economy.

With
enough support, we’re hopeful that the RFS waiver will not be passed.
Join us today for the Fuels America Day of Action and voice your
support for renewable fuel. Let’s tell the EPA to protect the RFS!

Thank you,

Ernie Shea

25x’25 Project Coordinator
